Jacob and Elizabeth Wilson

Jacob Wilson (b. 08/11/1835, d. 03/15/1863) and Elizabeth Edgar Fusselman (d. 12/20/1883) were married on June 11, 1857. All of their children were born in Wayne County, OH. Their family:
  • Clinton Miller Wilson m. Amy Westlake (my paternal grandparents)
  • George Brinton McClellan Wilson (b. 09/09/1861, m. Ms. Noggle) was named after the commanding general of the Ohio Volunteers (April 23 - May 13, 1861)
  • Elizabeth Jane Wilson (b. 07/07/1857, d. 05/21/1894) m. 09/20/1874 to James Johnson
NOTE:   Jacob was a member of Company E, 120th Infantry Regiment of Ohio Volunteers when he died of disease aboard the hospital boat "Nashville" which was moored near Young's Point, LA.   Jacob's widow subsequently relocated her family to Buchanan County, IA, and remarried in 1866 or 1867 to Thomas Robinson.
