This Wilsonhistory site, which chronicles my Wilson family, will look much better in a browser that supports web standards, but it is accessible to any browser or Internet device.

WilsonHistory

Introduction

WilsonHistory.net is a noncommercial, nonprofit website dedicated to researching and publishing genealogical information pertaining to my Wilson lineage and related families. I originally coined the term "WilsonHistory" back in the 80s and have used it on the Internet since the early 90s.

I am constantly updating these records so any corrections, additional information, documents, or pictures would be appreciated. I respect the privacy of the living, therefore I will not publish the names of any living person without their written permission. I reserve the right, however, to publish any factual or speculative information on deceased persons. I welcome all comments and suggestions, and hope that you find this site interesting and informative.

I have created a web portal designed for kids for which I have included a link above. This is strictly for fun and educational purposes and has no genealogy context.

This entire website was created solely on Microsoft Notepad. All pages on this website are interoperable Web pages that conform to the W3C recommendations for XHTML 1.0 Strict format (except for the Site Search page which conforms to HTML 4.01 Transitional standards). Tested on Gecko and NCSA Mosaic based browsers; best viewed with at least MSIE6, Mozilla Firefox 1.5 or Netscape 8. If you use Firefox or Netscape you can view this site in different colors. Just go to the menu bar and select View, then Page Style, then one of the optional color schemes.
